NEET UG 2022: NTA allows candidates to correct category in application form

Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided another opportunity to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) candidates to correct their category in their online application forms for NEET UG 2022 exam following representations from the candidates. The correction facility will be available from June 14 to 16, till 9 pm, the NTA informed the candidates through a public notice.

Candidates who applied for NEET UG 2022, but could not mention their actual category correctly in the NEET online application form on the NTA website can make the correction themselves and upload the scanned copy of the certificate. NTA further informed the candidates that those who could not obtain the category certificate can upload a self-declaration in the format prescribed by the agency.

Additional fees required as per the category change can be paid by the candidate through credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI or PAYTM. "Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardships to them, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidates," NTA said.
