Try NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the National Eligibility Entrance Examination, or NEET UG 2021 counselling for MBBS/BDS 2021 admission under the 15% All-India quota (AIQ), The NEET UG 2021 counselling schedule will be published on the official website soon.

In addition to the 15% AIQ seats in government and dental colleges in India, the MCC will announce NEET counseling dates for 2021 for admission to 100% of the seats at central and deemed universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, and AIIMS and JIPMER. A total of 83,125 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc & AH, 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER MBBS seats are available through NEET UG 20021.
About NEET 2021 Counselling
AIQ online counselling will be conducted in two rounds. All candidates who qualified for All India Quota seats based on their NEET UG result 2021 will be eligible. Additionally, the NEET cutoff rank for eligible candidates will be displayed on the MCC website. The seats that remain vacant after round 2 NEET 2021 counselling of the AIQ will be forwarded to the respective states.

NEET UG AIQ Counselling 2021: How to apply
Under 15% All India Quota, candidates need to register and choose their college of choice. There are 5 steps to the counseling process, which is outlined below.
Registration:
Candidates are required to register on MCC's official website mcc.nic.in in order to take part in NEET UG 2021 counselling.In the registration process, candidates will be asked to provide their roll number, registration number, name, mother's name, and date of birth as they appear on their scorecard.
Payment of Fee
After placing an application, candidates must pay the application fee for counselling. The details of NEET counselling fees is given below

Exercising & locking choices
After registration, candidates can choose subjects and colleges according to their preferences. There is no restriction on the number of choices, and students can arrange choices according to their preferences. According to MCC NEET UG counseling, seats will be assigned to students based on their filled choices and available seats. Students will be able to modify their choices up until the stipulated time is over, and once that time has passed, the choices will be locked automatically.
Seat Allotment
According to the rule, the authorities will release the seat allotment list for NEET 2021 candidates, in which they will be able to see which college they have been assigned.
Reporting to the allotted college
Candidates will have to report to their allotted college with their NEET 2021 allotment letter to complete the NEET UG admission process.
NEET UG 2021: NTA's role in the AIQ counselling
An important announcement has been made by the National Testing Agency, or NTA regarding NEET UG counselling in 2021 .The authority clarified state quota counselling and All India Quota (AIQ) in its notice.
“Candidates submitted their category as per National Category List and based on the same the result has been declared. NTA has provided All India Rank to the candidates and the admitting Authorities will draw a merit list based on All India Rank for the seats of MBBS/BDS falling under their jurisdiction, “ the official notice said.
According to the NTA's, candidates applying for their state must mention their category as per the state category list.The state counselling authority is also asked to make the NEET counselling merit list according to the state recommendations.The same applies to domicile.In addition, no changes to data will be made by the NTA," it said..
In its clarification, the NTA said that it has no responsibility in regard to the validity or authenticity of the information/documents submitted during the application process. It has further instructed that the eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of all eligible candidates need to be verified as per the norms set by the respective authorities and/or medical or dental colleges during NEET 2021 counselling.
