NEET SS Counselling 2025: Round 1 registration begins for DM, MCh courses; choice filling next

MCC NEET SS counselling 2025 registration last date is May 18. Candidates who have obtained the NEET SS cut-off will have to apply by paying an application fee of Rs 5,000.
MCC NEET SS Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Super Specialty (NEET SS 2025) counselling. Candidates who qualified the NEET SS will be allowed to apply for MCC counselling for admission into Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) courses.
The NEET SS counselling application form 2025 is now available on the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in. All super specialty seats - DM and MCh - in all central, state governments, deemed universities and other medical colleges.
As per the schedule, students will be able to register by 12 noon on May 18. However, the payment facility will be open till 3 pm. The MCC will conduct a total of three rounds of NEET SS counselling 2025 . The classes for the seat allotted students will commence from June 20.
NEET SS choice filling facility was scheduled to begin today, May 14. However, the MCC has not notified any update on choice filling or locking on the official website.
NEET SS round 1 counselling process
Candidates will have to key in their NEET SS roll number, password, and the security pin as displayed on the screen to register for the counselling process.
- After logging in, students will have to fill in the details asked.
- They are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 5,000 and a refundable security deposit fee of Rs 2, 00,000 (Rs 2 lakh)
- Exercise NEET SS choice filling and locking before the deadline
- Seat allotment results for NEET SS round 1 will be declared based on the choices filled.
- Selected candidates will have to report at the allotted medical college along with the required documents.
NEET SS cut-off 2024
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reduced the NEET SS cut-off for 7 groups and increased it for the remaining subjects. Anaesthesiology, microbiology, orthopaedics, pathology, pharmacology, psychiatry, and surgical groups saw a drop in cut-off marks.
