NEET SS exam dates 2025 revised. The NBEMS will issue the brochure on the official website, natboard.edu.in, shortly.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has postponed the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Examination Super Specialty (NEET SS 2025). As per the revised schedule, NEET SS 2025 exam will now be conducted on December 27 and 28.
“NEET-SS 2025 which was tentatively scheduled to be held on 7th and 8th November 2025, shall now be conducted on 27th and 28th December 2025. This has approval from NMC and MoHFW,” the officials said.
As per the tentative NBEMS exam calendar published in August, the NEET SS 2025 exam was scheduled to be held on November 7 and 8 for admission to Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) super specialty courses.
Candidates have been raising concerns over the possible postponement due to the delay in starting the application process.
Additionally, the National Medical Commission ( NMC ) had extended the deadline for medical colleges to submit the admission details of the NEET SS 2024.
Stating the exam was not held last year due to admission delays caused by COVID-19 pandemic, aspirants urged the health ministry, NMC, and MCC to conduct the admission process within the proposed timeline to avoid a repeat of “zero academic year”.
The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted in two shifts – first shift from 9 am to 11.30 am and second shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
“The Information Bulletin of NEET-SS 2025 will be notified on NBEMS website (https://natboard.edu.in) shortly,” the official circular read.
