Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET PG 2025 counselling round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates can check their round 2 allotment results for Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) admissions on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

Candidates can report discrepancies in the provisional result to MCC through email at mccresultquery@gmail.com by 12 noon on December 17. After this deadline, the provisional result will be treated as final.
Candidates who are allotted seats in round 2 of NEET PG 2025 counselling will have to report in person to their allotted medical colleges between December 17 and 25 to complete the admission process, as per the revised schedule.
As per the NEET PG counselling round 3 schedule, the registration process will begin on December 26. Candidates can pay the fee and fill the form by December 30.
In round 2 of NEET PG 2025 counselling, a total of 540 candidates resigned or withdrew. Following this, MCC added 135 new postgraduate medical seats, bringing the total number of seats to 32,215.

According to the data from medical colleges, MCC has updated the seat matrix by adding 540 seats following resignations, removing 117 duplicate seats, and adjusting 18 seats due to AFMS quota changes.
For the NEET PG round 2 counselling, a total of 218 applicants have been provisionally transferred from the Indian category to the non-resident Indian (NRI) category.
NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Document verification
While reporting to the allotted medical colleges, candidates must carry their NEET PG admit card and scorecard, MBBS/BDS mark sheets and degree certificate, internship completion and MCI registration certificates, date of birth proof, valid ID, and relevant caste or disability certificates, if applicable.
The verification of joined candidates and data sharing will take place on December 26.
MCC allocates seats for MD and MS admissions according to candidates’ NEET PG ranks, choices submitted during the choice-filling process, seat availability, applicable reservation policies, and prescribed eligibility criteria.

Here are the steps to check the round 2 of NEET PG counselling results 2025:
- Go to the official website of NEET PG counselling, mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the link for NEET PG round 2 seat allotment.
- Enter the roll number and password.
- The NEET PG 2025 round 2 seat allotment result PDF will be displayed.
- Download and check your admission status.
The MCC conducts the NEET PG counselling for eligible candidates in four rounds: round 1, round 2, round 3, and a stray vacancy for the remaining vacant seats.
MCC announced the round 1 NEET PG seat allotment result on November 21. According to the results, a total of 26,889 candidates, including 466 NRIs, were allotted seats in MCC NEET PG counselling 2025.
