The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date for choice-filling of round 1 of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling till tomorrow, 12 noon. MCC has extended round 1 choice filling for candidates to edit their preferences for 239 newly added seats. Candidates can submit their NEET PG 2025 round 1 preferences on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on November 22.

As per the last revised NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule, candidates who will be allotted seats in round 1 will have to report to the colleges to confirm their admissions between November 23 to December 1.

Recently, the MCC removed 73 postgraduate seats from the NEET PG 2025 seat matrix, including 39 in Gujarat, 12 in Jammu-Kashmir, 4 in Telangana, 9 in Uttar Pradesh, 2 in West Bengal, and 7 in Chhattisgarh.

Earlier, the total number of seats for NEET PG 2025 was 28,663, covering Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Postgraduate Diploma (PG Diploma), and DNB programmes under different quotas.

NEET PG Counselling 2025: Choice filling, locking

Candidates will have to log in to their MCC NEET PG official website and fill in their college and course preferences for admissions. Candidates will have to submit and modify their choices entered before the locking period.

MCC will allot candidates' seats based on their NEET PG rank, college and course preferences entered, category, reservation and other factors. MCC conducts NEET PG counselling 2025 for All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% deemed, central universities seats for the academic year 2025.
