NEET PG Counselling 2023: MCC to reopen round 3 registration over cut off reduction

Try NowNEW DELHI : In view of the reduction in National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 cut off, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the registration window for the third round of NEET PG counselling 2023 will be reopened for candidates who have become eligible now. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare approved the reduction of NEET PG 2023 cut-off to “zero” for all categories.
MCC also informed that a fresh schedule for round 3 onwards will be uploaded on the official website, mcc.nic.in, soon. It advised candidates to be in touch with the official website for latest updates.
Referring to the official letter written by the health ministry to the National Medical Commission (NMC) and others, MCC said: “In this regard, it is mentioned that Fresh Registration & Choice Filling for Round-3 of PG Counselling will be opened again for candidates who have become eligible after reduction of percentile.”

Students who have become eligible for admissions to postgraduate medical programmes through counseling can register and participate in the third round of NEET PG 2023 counselling. “The candidates who are already registered need not register again. However, they will be allowed to edit their choices,” MCC added.
“I am directed to refer to the above mentioned subject and to say that the recommendation for reduction in the qualifying percentile for post graduate courses for 2023 (NEET PG 2023) has been considered in the ministry. Approval of competent authority is hereby conveyed for reduction of qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2023 to “zero” across all categories,” said the health ministry in the official statement.
