NEET PG 2025 LIVE: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule soon for MD, MS, and PG diploma admission process. Earlier, the Supreme Court had adjourned the NEET PG transparency hearing for this week. However, there's no update on the transparency plea hearing yet.
Meanwhile, aspirants continue to demand full questions along with the answer key to verify their scores and NEET PG results 2025.
The NEET PG 2025 exam underwent several changes this year. Although the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced its decision to continue conducting the exam in two shifts, it was later changed to single-shift as per the Supreme Court ruling, removing the need to use normalisation method for ranking.
In another unprecedented move, the board also agreed to publish the answer key with questions. But, swiftly issued a “corrective notice” stating that it will only issue question IDs instead of full questions. Later it issued, Question IDs of the master set of question paper, correct answer key and responses marked.
This was challenged in the top court and a fresh petition was once again submitted seeking transparency and clarity in the national-level medical entrance exam. A petition was filed seeking an urgent hearing, citing that the MCC counselling will begin the counselling process soon.
While the top court questioned the intent of the petitioners, the aspirants argued that it is not possible to verify their answers with only the question IDs.
Ahead of the MCC NEET PG counselling 2025, the National Medical Commission clarified that medical colleges need not apply for fresh recognition of seats, but have to furnish the annual disclosure report as well as course-wise fee details.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the NEET PG counselling dates 2025 for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
