SC to hear NEET PG petitions after two weeks
Earlier, NBEMS had announced that it would release the answer keys, response sheets, and question papers for the exam. However, it later clarified that only question IDs would be made available, citing miscommunication and the proprietary nature of the exam content as the reason for the change.
The petitioners have raised concerns over this decision, arguing that publishing only the answer keys without the corresponding questions prevents candidates from verifying their results and assessing the fairness of the evaluation process.
The Supreme Court is expected to review the transparency petitions again once the two-week period ends. In the meantime, MBBS graduates continue to wait for the MCC to announce the NEET PG counselling schedule, which is critical for admissions to postgraduate medical courses.
Meanwhile, some states, including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, have commenced the NEET PG 2025 counselling process.
