Try NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 schedule soon. Candidates will be able to download the MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule by visiting the official website, mcc.nic.in. As per a report, Supreme Court hearing on NEET PG 2024 petitions is likely be heard on November 19.
NEET PG 2024 counselling registration for round 1 has commenced on September 20. NEET PG 2024 counselling has commenced in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Jharkhand, while the process in five states, including Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan, has been halted. This suspension is due to the pending decision from the Supreme Court.
The next NEET PG SC hearing date will be announced soon. The NEET PG 2024 plea addresses concerns raised by aspirants regarding last-minute changes to the exam pattern and lack of transparency in the results process.
NEET PG 2024 SC Case: What happened in last hearing?
During NEET PG 2024 SC hearing, NBEMS confirmed that the answer checking process is entirely automated and computer-based, excluding any human involvement. The NBEMS further clarified that the NEET PG 2024 information bulletin had already notified candidates that the response sheets, question papers, and answer keys would not be released due to the limited availability of high-difficulty questions. Justice Pardiwala directed NBEMS and other representatives to prepare notes for the upcoming hearing.
NEET PG 2024 SC Hearing: Demands by petitioners
The NEET PG 2024 petition has been filed by Ishika Jain, Kiran Kumar Patil, Tanmoy Deshmukh, and 16 other candidates under diary number 41088/2024. NEET PG aspirants have made several demands. They are requesting the release of question papers, answer keys, and their raw scores to ensure transparency, especially after the sudden exam pattern changes three days before NEET PG 2024. Additionally, the candidates have raised concerns about the fairness of the normalization process and are seeking clarity from NBEMS on these issues.
