Try NowNEW DELHI : The National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam city will be issued on July 31. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will email the allocated test city to the candidates on their registered email IDs. NEET PG 2024 admit card will be issued on August 8. The medical entrance exam will be held on August 11 for admission to postgraduate medical programmes.
“Pursuant to the receipt of preferred test city choices, the test city allocated to candidates by NBEMS shall now be communicated to all concerned candidates through email on 31st July 2024 at their registered email IDs. Earlier, the NEET PG city allotment 2024 was scheduled for July 29.
The medical board also informed that the NEET PG exam centre venue in the allotted test city will be intimated through NEET PG admit card 2024 which will be issued on August 8, 2024 at website, natboard.edu.in.
Registered candidates were given the opportunity to exercise their choices of preferred test cities from the list of 185 cities between July 19 and July 23. Candidates were asked to provide choices of four test cities among the available cities within the state of correspondence address. During the NEET PG exam city selection window, several aspirants complained of slow website, login issues, and confusion regarding options.
In a first, the exam will be conducted in two shifts. The PG medical entrance exam was postponed a day before the previous scheduled date “to maintain the sanctity of the examination process”. According to the marking scheme, the paper will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions and will be time-bound. Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 0.25% marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
