NEET PG 2022 Counselling: MCC issues advisory for candidates; warns against fake website

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important advisory for candidates participating in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2022) counselling. The MCC has also allowed candidates to change nationality from Indian to NRI from today till September 13, 2022.
Candidates who want to get their nationality converted from Indian to NRI for NEET PG 2022 Counselling Round 1 MD, MS, Diploma, MDS seats will have to send an email to nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com.
As per the NEET PG 2022 counselling schedule , the registration for round 1 counselling will begin from September 15, 2022, at mcc.nic.in. The MCC has also warned students against fake allotment letters and websites.

MCC advisory for NEET PG 2022 counselling candidates
- MCC of DGHS allots seats to candidates on the basis of merit and choices filled by them through MCC software which can be downloaded only by the successful candidates from the MCC website.
- MCC does not allot seats on nomination basis. It is further reiterated that no letters are issued by MCC to successful students. Candidates who have been allotted seats by MCC have to download Provisional Allotment Letters from MCC website and report at allotted colleges for admission. Hence, candidates are advised to beware of any letters issued by scrupulous persons on behalf of MCC regarding allotment of seats.
- Candidates should be cautious of fake agents and are advised to perform all activities related to registration on the website by themselves instead of hiring agents for the same.
- The password created for registration should not be shared with anyone.
- The MCC does not host any website other than www.mcc.nic.in. Candidates should beware of fake websites.
- Any case of fraudulent website/ agent may be immediately reported to MCC and FIR may be lodged by a candidate for such matters.
