Treat Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted holidays as working days: NMC to NEET counselling participating colleges

Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed the medical colleges and other participating colleges to follow schedule for all India quota and state quota seats counselling process. The medical commission has asked the participating colleges to treat all Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days.

The MCC has started the registration for NEET PG 2023 counselling today, while the NEET UG counselling 2023 choice filling and choice locking facility against round-1 closed on Wednesday, July 26.
A statement issued in this regard on July 27 said: “For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling, all participating institutes/ colleges are directed to treat all Saturdays/ Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days.”
Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has asked the NMC to upload state postgraduate counselling schedules on the NMC official website -- mcc.nic.in.
While asking the NMC to upload the NEET PG counselling schedule, the DGHS in a statement said: “..the schedule of NEET PG counselling to be conducted by respective state counselling authorities and PG information bulletin and scheme as approved by the competent authority are being sent to you.”
