The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will declare the results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) by June 14. The tentative NEET UG result date 2025 was notified in the information brochure. However, the result timing has not yet been announced. The NTA usually declares results in the evening or after 12 pm. It will also announce the NEET toppers and cut-off for general, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS.
The NEET UG exam 2025 was held for 20.7 lakh MBBS aspirants in 4,750 exam centres located in 557 cities in India and 14 abroad.
Meanwhile, students have expressed concerns over errors in the NEET UG question paper. The NEET booklet code 47 and 48 for the Gujarati medium had an incorrect sequence of pages, causing students to mark the wrong answers in the OMR sheet.

NEET 2025 tie-breaking rule
The NTA will use the following tie-breaking method in descending order to break the tie if two or more candidates obtain the same marks.
- Candidate obtaining higher marks or percentile score in biology
- Candidate obtaining higher marks or percentile score in chemistry
- Candidate obtaining higher marks or percentile score in physics
- Candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects
- Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in biology
- Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in chemistry
- Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in physics
- If tie persists, it will be resolved through a random process with the guidance of an independent expert committee.
