NCVET grants recognition to Adani Skills and Education Foundation as certified vocational training body
The Adani Skills and Education Foundation can now award and certify learners for qualifications in the port logistics sector, approved by NCVET.
The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) has granted recognition to Adani Skills and Education Foundation as an awarding body with Pan-India territorial jurisdiction.

“The recognition ensures a structured, accountable, and quality-assured delivery of vocational training across the country,” according to an official press release.

National Skill Ecosystem
The NCVET has been established to strengthen the industry participation in the
national skills ecosystem
. The recognition will bring industry-aligned standards, enhanced training quality as per NCVET guidelines and expanded opportunities for learners, the press release said.
The vocational training body aims to further enhance the vocational training landscape and contribute to empowering youth with credible skills, national-level employment pathways.
In October this year, the government launched NCVET-approved skill courses on tea sommeliers and tea tasting to promote tea literacy. The NCVET, through its programmes, aims to train youth and promote tea literacy in the country.
In addition, the Tea Board India also formed a committee to explore existing courses in India and abroad, and to develop a comprehensive curriculum aligned with international standards, Indian tea industry requirements, and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
