NTA extends NCHM JEE 2026 registration till April 1

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE 2026) to April 1. Eligible candidates can apply for NCHM JEE 2026 on the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee.
NTA will conduct NCHM JEE 2026 on April 25 from 11 am to 1 pm across the country.
For NCHM JEE 2026 , the application fee is Rs 1,000 for general and OBC applicants, Rs 700 for those in the EWS category, and Rs 450 for candidates from SC, ST, and PwD groups.
“The extension is intended to benefit candidates across various regions and to ensure that maximum eligible candidates can complete the application process, particularly in view of the recent addition of examination cities,” the official NCHM JEE notice reads.

NCHM JEE 2026: Eligibility
The eligibility requirements for the NCHM JEE 2026 exam are as follows.
- No age limit to apply.
- Candidates must pass the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution with English as one of the subjects.
- Students appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply. Provisional admission will be cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination is not submitted at the time of admission or by September 30, 2026.
NCHM JEE 2026: Exam Pattern
The NCHM JEE 2026 exam is held once a year in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.
NCHMCT JEE tests the candidates in various subjects, including English language, reasoning and logical deduction, numerical ability and analytical aptitude, GK and current affairs and aptitude for the service sector.

As per the NCHM JEE 2026 marking scheme, candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong response. NCHM JEE exam is held to fill seats in 21 central institutes of hotel management , 33 state government institutes, one PDU, two PPP-run SIHMs, and 25 private institutes.
