Download EBookNEW DELHI, MARCH 13: National Institute of Design (NID) has announced the result of Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims 2018 in online mode on March 13. The entrance exam was held on January 7 for admissions to eight Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programmes offered at the Ahmedabad campus. Candidates, who appeared for the aptitude test, can now view their result by logging in to their account. The Institute will not send separate result/scorecards to them.

Eligible candidates will have to appear for the next stage- Mains, which is scheduled to be held from May 15 to 22, 2018. The number of shortlisted candidates is not less than three times the number of total seats available per category in that programme. If the total scores of two or more candidates are the same, then they have been assigned the same rank.
The admit card for Mains will be available on March 22 (4 PM). The final merit list for admissions will be released in online mode on May 31 (2 PM). A total of 100 B.Design seats will be allocated to the successful candidates at NID Ahmedabad campus. Candidates should note that only those test-takers will be considered eligible to be included in the merit list who have appeared for all tests in both the stages- Prelims and Mains.
