NEW DELHI: The Nagaland National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) registration process is underway for Class 8 students studying in government schools. Interested students must complete the registration by August 31. The Nagaland NMMS scholarship application link is available at scert.nagaland.gov.in.

Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category and have passed Class 7 with 50 percent marks are eligible to apply for the scholarship. However, General category candidates need 55 percent marks.

The scholarship examination is scheduled for November 4. Upon qualifying the examination, successful candidates will be granted a monthly scholarship amount of Rs 1,000 from Class 9 to 12.
