MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams 2021 postponed: Report

MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams have been postponed due to the rising Corona cases in the state.
NEW DELHI : Madhya Pradesh government has decided to postpone the MP Board exams 2021 for Class 10 and 12. This decision has been taken amid increasing COVID-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh. MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams which were scheduled to be conducted from April 30, 2021, are now postponed until June 2021. The revised dates will be released by the board soon.
As per the Times of India report, Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said, “The MP board exam 2021 will be conducted after May 30. Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, it is decided to extend the exam dates. Also, schools for Class 1 to 8 students will be closed till June 15, 2021.”
“Ongoing situations do not allow us to organise the exam on scheduled dates. We will issue fresh dates in the next few days. The practical exams are also extended. We have instructed the officials to conduct exams by May 15, 2021,” he added, according to the report.
Earlier, the practice exams were scheduled to begin on April 17, 2021. Students should check the board's official website to keep themselves informed.
