MHT CET CAP 2025: 64,841 students secure BE, BTech admissions in first two rounds

Download NowA total of 64,841 candidates have secured admissions in Maharashtra engineering colleges in the first two rounds of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for BE, BTech admissions based on MHT CET 2025 scores. The state Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will display the provisional vacant seats for MHT CET CAP 2025 round 3 tomorrow, August 15, on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Candidates were allowed to report to the colleges allotted in MHT CET round 2 seat allotment 2025 and confirm their admissions by submitting the required documents by 5 pm today. Only those students who fulfilled the certificate requirements and eligibility criteria and paid the course fee must have been successfully admitted to the institutes.
As per an official data, 34,931 candidates were admitted in Maharashtra CET CAP round 1 2025 and 29,910 secured admissions in CAP round 2.

Over 21,000 engineering seats were left vacant after MHT CET 2025 CAP round 2 allotment , while 1,62,205 students were allotted seats against 1.83 lakh seats.
For the third round of Maharashtra BTech counselling 2025, aspirants will have to submit and confirm their options between August 16 and 18. MHT CET CAP round 3 seat allotment will be published on August 21.
