Download EBookNEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra has released the provisional alphabetical merit list for 5-year LLB admissions on January 7. The merit list has been released for Maharashtra State Candidature Type (MS) and Other State Candidature Type (OMS). Candidates may now submit their grievances against the provisional list till by January 11, 2021.

What next?
The State Cell allows the candidates to raise objections against the provisional merit list. Candidates may now log in at the counselling portal and file objections against the list. The last date to submit the grievances is January 18. On the basis of candidate grievances, the e-scrutiny team of CET Cell will conduct a re-scrutiny of the documents submitted by the applicants. The improved merit list will be available at the counselling portal on January 18, 2021, at around 5 PM.
First seat allotment on January 21
The seat allotment will be conducted on the basis of merit-cum-preference. The first list of seat allotment will be released on January 21, 2021, after 5 PM. Shortlisted candidates will have to report at the allotted law college to confirm the first round of admission.
The merit list for NRI, OCI, PIO, FNS Candidates & J&K Candidates will also be released on January 22, 2021.
MH CET law counselling is conducted in multiple rounds, depending upon the availability of seats. Candidates who missed the first round of counselling will have the option to participate in the next round which will start from January 30, 2021, onwards.
Meanwhile, the State CET Cell has already released the provisional merit list for 3-year LLB on December 6, 2020. The grievances against the list can be submitted till January 11.
