Try NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will commence the registration process for the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 for stray vacancy round tomorrow, October 21. Eligible candidates are required to do fresh register for the NEET UG 2024 counselling for the stray vacancy round, through the official website, mcc.nic.in.

“If a candidate is allotted a seat in Stray round, he has to join the allotted seat/college. If the candidate does not join the allotted seat, he/she shall be debarred from NEET examination for 01 next session Year along with forfeiture of fees,” the official notice read. The last date to register for the NEET UG stary round counselling 2024 is October 25.
At the time of registration, students participating for medical, dental, or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing seats will need to pay a non-refundable registration fee is Rs 5,000, which is the same for all candidates.
For the 15% All India Quota, central universities, the registration fee is Rs 1,000 for unreserved and economically weaker section (UR/EWS) candidates, while it is Rs 500 for scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC), and persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates. The last date to make payment for NEET UG counselling 2024 for stray vacancy round is October 25, 2024 till 3 pm.

NEET UG counselling 2024 schedule
As per the official schedule, the MCC will announce the seat allotment results on October 26. Candidates will be allowed to exercise the choice filling and locking process on October 25 and October 26, 2024. During this period, candidates can select their preferred courses and institutes.
Institutes will verify the data of joined candidates from October 26 to October 28, 2024, and announce the seat allotment result on October 29, 2024. Candidates will then have to report to the allotted institute for subsequent processing from October 30 to November 5, 2024.
