Try NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the seat allotment result for the stray vacancy round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 today, February 19, 2025 for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats. NEET PG stray vacancy round allotment 2024 is available on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
A total of 2,331 candidates have been allotted in the fourth round of PG medical counselling, of which, 11 are under Armed Forces quota. As per the NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule, seat allotted candidates can report to the allotted institutes between February 20 and 28.
In case of any discrepancy, candidates can inform the committee immediately, before 5 pm today, after which the provisional allotment will be considered final.
“It is for the information to all candidates that the Provisional Result for Stray Vacancy Round for NEET PG Counselling 2024 is now available. Any discrepancy in the result may immediately be informed to MCC of DGHS upto 05:00 PM of 19.02.2025 through email on the Email id: mccresultquery@gmail.com after which the Provisional Result will be treated as ‘Final’,” said MCC in an official notice.
NEET PG stray vacancy seat matrix, eligibility
MCC withdrew three seats from the NEET PG stray vacancy round seat matrix, after receiving information from the institutes.
Only those candidates who did not hold a seat in the AIQ and state quotas were eligible to participate in MCC NEET PG stray vacancy round counselling, as per the eligibility criteria issued by the committee.
The counselling authorities revised the NEET PG counselling schedule for the stray vacancy round, following a lag in state counselling. Even the NEET PG seat matrix underwent a change amid requests to cancel round 3 allotments. Several aspirants demanded either round 4 or upgradation in the stray vacancy round of MCC, complaining of disadvantage due to lagging of states.
