Maharashtra SSC Hindi Question Paper Analysis 2026

The Hindi or entire Hindi paper carries a total of 100 marks and is designed as a comprehensive language course. It covers detailed sections including prose (Gadya), poetry (Padya), supplementary reading (Purak Pathan), grammar (Bhasha Abhyas), and extended writing skills (Upayojit Lekhan), such as essays and formal letter writing.

In contrast, the Hindi Composite paper is structured for students who opt to combine Hindi with another language subject, such as Sanskrit. Under this format, the second language requirement of 100 marks is divided into two separate papers of 50 marks each, allowing students to split their assessment across two subjects.

To pass the Maharashtra SSC Board examination, students are required to secure a minimum of 35% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate.

MSBSHSE Class 10 Hindi Paper 2026: Guidelines

To ensure a hassle-free experience during the Maharashtra SSC Hindi Exam 2026, candidates must follow the guidelines issued by the MSBSHSE Board:

  • Admit Card Compulsory: Carry a printed copy of your SSC hall ticket to each exam session. Entry will not be permitted without it.
  • Reporting Time: Students must be seated in the examination hall by 10:30 AM. As per the board’s late-entry rule, candidates arriving after 11:00 AM may not be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Permitted Stationery: Bring writing materials in a transparent pouch. Only blue or black ink pens are allowed for answering.
  • No Reading Buffer: The earlier 10-minute reading time has been discontinued. Students must begin effectively once the exam starts at 11 am.
  • Ban on Gadgets: Electronic items such as mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches are strictly prohibited. Possession of such devices may result in debarment from future examinations.
  • Barcode on Answer Sheet: Carefully paste the barcode sticker provided by the invigilator and ensure your seat number is entered correctly.
  • Dress Code and ID: Students are advised to wear their school uniform and carry their school ID card for smooth verification at the exam centre.
