KVS Admission 2026 Lottery Result: Balvatika Class 1 admissions result out at kvsangathan.nic.in. Check admission status online using registration number on official portals.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) announced the Balvatika Class 1 admission lottery result today, April 8, 2026. Parents can check the result from the official website of KVS at kvsangathan.nic.in. To check the admission status, parents have to use their child’s registration number. The result will also be available on the official portal at admission.kvs.gov.in.
The online registration process for Balvatika and Class 1 was conducted from March 20 to April 2, 2026. The first provisional list for Balvatika was released on April 8, 2026, followed by the Class 1 list on April 9, 2026 (April 10 for some states). The second and third provisional lists are scheduled for April 16 and April 21, 2026, respectively. If required, offline registration will take place from April 22 to April 26, 2026. Admissions for Balvatika and Class 2 onwards will be held between April 15 and April 20, 2026, while the last date for admissions (except Class 11) is June 30, 2026.
Admissions will be offered according to a defined priority order, beginning with Right to Education (RTE) candidates, followed by those under Service Priority Categories I and II, and then the remaining applicants.

To check the result, parents should follow the steps given below:

Visit the official website of KVS at kvsangathan.nic.in.

On the homepage, click on the "Admissions 2026-27" tab

Select the "Balvatika Provisional Selection List 2026" or "Lottery Result 2026" link

Choose the specific KV region and school name

The provisional list will open as a PDF file

Now, use Ctrl+F to search for the child’s registration number

Download the pdf and save it for further reference.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2026: Documents verification round
The next important stage in KVS Admission 2026 is document verification. Parents should ensure they have a copy of the online registration form, the child’s date of birth certificate, and applicable category certificates such as SC, ST, OBC-NCL, BPL, EWS, SGC, or disability certificate. RTE applicants must also provide proof of residence, along with the child’s Aadhaar card and blood report. In the case of children of uniformed Defence personnel, a retirement certificate and a service certificate showing transfers over the past seven years are also required.
