KTU internship for BTech students in Kerala Govt programme for disabled youth

Internship in Kerala Government programme is for second-year BTech students of KTU. Last date to apply is December 13.
NEW DELHI: Innovation by Youth with Disabilities (I-YwD) has opened a six-month internship opportunity for social media marketing, graphic design, videography and video editing, and content writing for second-year BTech students of the KTU university. This project is coordinated by the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Kerala. The last date for applying for the I-YwD internship is December 13, reported The Hindu.

No stipend will be available for this internship programme. But those who complete the programme will be provided certificates of completion. The internship will be conducted in both online and offline mode. Interested candidates should mail their statement of interest and previous work samples at internwithiywd@gmail.com .

Kerala Government programme
I-YwD is a Kerala government programme with the objective to identify and develop innovation potential in youth with disabilities in Kerala. The project is conceived by Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) and implemented by the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH). APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is offering internships to second-year BTech students of the university. I-YwD provides people in the age group of 15 to 40, with an ecosystem to develop an innovative idea they are passionate about.

The objective of the internship is to form a team of student ambassadors who are passionate to spread awareness about disability and accessibility to spread the word about I-YwD and the scope of innovations by youth with disabilities.
