Check NowNEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will close the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 registration today, February 24. Candidates will be able to fill up the KCET 2025 registration form by visiting the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

However, the KCET 2025 registration fee payment deadline is February 25. General Merit (GM), 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates of Karnataka are required to pay an KCET 2025 application fee of Rs 500, while CAT-1, Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates of the state have to pay Rs 250.
Candidates who have studied outside Karnataka are required to pay Rs 750 for the application process. Foreign candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 5,000. The KCET 2025 registration fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI service.
KCET 2025 date and exam timing
As per the KEA official schedule, the KCET 2025 exam date is April 16 and 17. As per the KCET 2025 schedule, the exam will be conducted in two shifts each day, from 10: 30 to 11: 50 am and from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm. However, a Kannada language test will be held on April 18 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. KCET 2025 Kannada language test will be held at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.
KCET 2025 exam pattern
The KCET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of the KCET 2025 exam is 1 hour 20 minutes. There will be a total of 180 multiple-choice questions. The medium of the KCET 2025 question paper will be English and Kannada. The paper carries 180 marks in total.
The KCET 2025 paper will be divided into three sections- physics, chemistry and mathematics. Each section in KCET 2025 will carry equal weightage. As per the KCET 2025 marking scheme, candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
