Download NowNEW DELHI : The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will begin the registration process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 from today, January 23, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the KCET 2025 through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. As per the schedule, the KCET 2025 registration link will be available till February 21.
KEA will also release the complete list of KCET 2025 exam centres on its official website. Candidates can select their KCET 2025 exam centre while filling out the KCET 2025 application form.
Candidate will need certain documents such as SSLC, Class 10, 12 mark sheet and 2nd PUC mark sheet, passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and reservation certificates if any while applying for KCET 2025.
KCET 2025 exam date, pattern
As per the KEA, the KCET 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 16 and 17 at various exam centres across the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day, from 10: 30 to 11: 50 am and from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
However, a Kannada language test will be held on April 18 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. KCET 2025 Kannada language test will be conducted at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.
The KCET exam will be conducted in pen-paper based in English and Kannada. A total of 180 questions will be asked in the KCET 2025 is 180. As per the KCET 2025 marking scheme candidates will be allotted one mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking in the exam.

KCET 2025 eligibility criteria
Candidates can check the KCET 2025 eligibility criteria given below-
- English should be one of the compulsory languages of the candidates.
- Interested candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Biotechnology.
- The minimum qualifying mark for SC, and ST candidates is 40%.
