Download NowNEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has changed the dates for the Kannada language exam for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. The KCET 2025 exam for the Kannada language will be conducted on April 15.
Initially, the KCET 2025 exam was scheduled to be held on April 18, 2025. The change comes after candidates requested a new date as April 18 falls on Good Friday. The revised schedule follows government directives. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The Kannada language test will be held at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.
“The UGCET-25 Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be conducted on April 15 instead of April 18. However, the CET exam will be held as scheduled on April 16 and 17, with no changes. The admit card will be made available for download soon,” the official notice said.
The notice further informed that the Karnataka CET 2025 exams for remaining candidates will be held as planned on April 16 and 17, with no changes to the previously announced timetable. Candidates who have applied for KCET 2025 and paid the exam fee can soon download their admit cards through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The examination authority recently clarified that the KCET 2025 question paper will feature four answer options per question, while KEA's other competitive exams will include five options in multiple-choice questions.
