Karnataka SSLC Exam Date 2026: KSEB has rescheduled the third language exam due to Mahavir Jayanti; other exams will continue as per the original timetable
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has rescheduled the Karnataka SSLC exam 2026 for the third language paper to be held on March 31, instead of March 30, due to a holiday for Mahavir Jayanti.
The Karnataka SSLC exams 2026 are being held from March 18 to April 2, as per the timetable released in November 2025. However, the state government later declared March 30, 2026, a public holiday, so the Karnataka Class 10 exam date was changed.
According to the revised Karnataka SSLC schedule, the third language paper, including Hindi, Kannada, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Konkani, and Tulu, will now be held on March 31 from 10 am to 1 pm.

Meanwhile, the remaining Karnataka SSLC 2026 exams , including junior technical school subjects, will be held on April 1, and social science will be held on April 2, as per the original Karnataka SSLC timetable without any changes.
The Karnataka Class 10 third language paper is for 100 marks, with 80 marks for the theory exam and 20 marks for internal assessment. Students need at least 33% marks in each subject (theory + internal) to pass.
This year, a total of 8.65 lakh students are appearing for the Karnataka SSLC board examinations 2026
