Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2022 schedule revised; option entry ends tomorrow

Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2022 seat allotment result will be announced tomorrow at kea.kar.nic.in.
NEW DELHI : The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the revised schedule of the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2022. According to the revised Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2022 schedule, option entry portal will be enabled today and seat allotment result will be announced tomorrow, October 31, 2022.
“As per the orders of the High Court, the PG counselling was stopped and government by its notification has reserved 20% of the government quota seats for in-service candidates. In continuation to the above communication, Directorate of Medical Education has revised the in-service and non-in-service seat matrix for PG medical courses. The same has been hosted on the KEA website for the information of the candidates,” read the official notification from KEA.

KEA informed that all the candidates who are holding verification slip are eligible for the opton entry. Candidates who have already entered options can re-order, add, or delete the options if required. The option entry window will be open till 4 pm tomorrow.
“The candidates are strictly advised to exercise their options in this period only. No requests for further time extensions will be entertained after the same period,” KEA further said.
On October 17, Karnataka High Court stayed the counselling process and on October 25, quashed the state government notification issued on October 6, 2022, by which seats earmarked for in-service candidates from NEET PG examination 2022 was reduced from 30 per cent to 15 per cent.
