JoSAA 2024: IIT Bombay’s computer science engineering in high demand, remains first choice for AIR 1-68

Use NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay’s BTech Computer Science and Engineering most sought after course in JoSAA seat allocation 2024. The IIT Bombay CSE opened at JEE Advanced rank 1 to 68, followed by IIT Delhi CSE stream opened at AIR 27 to 116. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the opening and closing ranks for admission to BTech courses offered by IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs at the official website, josaa.nic.in.

A total of 1,80,200 candidates took the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced 2024), out of which 48,248 candidates qualified the exam. As per the JEE Advanced toppers list 2024, Ved Lahoti from IIT Delhi zone obtained the highest scorer of 355 out of 360 marks and bagged the rank 1 in Common Rank List (CRL). In the female category, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone scored 332 out of 360 marks and obtained rank 7.
JoSAA round 1 seat allotment results 2024 were declared on June 20. Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report by June 24 by 5 pm. The second round of JoSAA seat allocation results will be declared on June 27.
