The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment round 1 in online mode. Candidates can check the JoSAA seat allotment 2022 result at josaa.nic.in. The credentials required to download JoSAA 2022 seat allotment are JEE Main application number and password.

How to download JoSAA 2022 seat allotment letter round 1?
Candidates have to follow the below steps to check JoSAA seat allotment result 2022:

Visit the JoSAA website - josaa.nic.in 2022

Click on the “JoSAA seat allotment results - Round 1” link

Login with the help of JEE Main 2022 application number, password and enter security pin

Once login, the JoSAA counselling round 1 result will be available on the screens.

Download and take a printout of the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment letter and take a printout for future reference.
Candidates who have been allotted seats under JoSAA 1st round result have to select either ‘freeze’, ‘float’ or ‘slide’ option. The details of the options is provided below:
Freeze - This option reflects that the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted and does not wish to proceed for further rounds of JoSAA seat allotment.
Float - This option reflects that the candidate is accepting the offered seat but willing to opt for higher preference in subsequent rounds of counselling.
Slide - This option reflects that the candidate is accepting the seat but willing to accept an academic programme of higher preference within the same institute.
