JEE Main 2025 Live: Session 1 city intimation slip out at jeemain.nta.nic.in; updates on admit card

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2025 session 1 city intimation slips. Eligible candidates can download the JEE main 2025 city slip through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 30, 2025.

As per the official JEE Main session 1 exam schedule , paper 1 for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) will be held in two shifts on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. Paper 2 for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Planning (BPlanning) will be conducted in a single shift on January 30.

NTA has not yet announced the admit card release date but it is expected to be issued at least three days before the JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam date. The JEE Mains exam city intimation slip provides information about the specific city where a candidate's JEE Main exam will take place while the JEE Main admit card carries detailed information about the exam.

The JEE Main Admit Card 2025 includes key details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, date of birth, and parents’ names. It also displays the photograph, signature, exam date, shift, timings, and reporting time, along with the examination centre’s name and address.

JEE Main 2025: CSAB adds extra round for northeast students

In the recent update, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has invited students from north-eastern states to register for JEE Main 2025. To support these students, a special counselling round will be conducted for those who do not secure seats in the initial JoSAA and CSAB rounds for NIT admissions.

JEE Main 2025: Revised exam pattern

According to the updated JEE Main exam pattern 2025, there will be two sections on the question paper: section A will include 20 questions, and section B will have five mandatory questions. The optional questions that were included during COVID were eliminated by the NTA . The NTA has already uploaded the reduced JEE Main 2025 syllabus on the official website. Candidates can check the JEE Main 2025 syllabus through the official website.

The NTA has retained the 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2025. According to the eligibility requirements, candidates seeking admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and centrally-funded technical institutes (CFTIs) must secure a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 to be eligible for admission.
