The JEE Mains BE, BTech paper 1 was held on the first 5 days of the engineering entrance exam; the score will be used for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Centrally-Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) and other state participating universities.
Students should note that only the top 2.5 lakh candidates in the JEE Mains merit list 2025 will be considered eligible for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam for IIT admissions.
The NTA is expected to publish the JEE Main answer key for session 1 exams along with the response sheet soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. It informed candidates that the JEE Mains answer key will be displayed online only for 2-3 days. Those not satisfied with the answers will be allowed to challenge by paying Rs 200 per objection.
What is a good score for JEE Main 2025 session 1?
As per the shift-wise JEE Main January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 BE, BTech paper 1 exam analysis, candidates found the January 28 question paper to be the ‘toughest’. Based on the paper analysis and difficulty level of previous year question papers, the following percentile will be considered as a good JEE Main score for session 1 exams.
