The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 exam dates. NTA will conduct the JEE Mains 2025 session 1 between January 21 and 30, and session 2 from April 1 to 10. The testing agency will begin the NTA JEE Mains 2026 registration on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, in October.

Recently, NTA clarified that there’s no such advisory related to any exam city allocation, and candidates will still have the option to select their preferred exam city. NTA had also issued advisory for candidates to update their Aadhar, UDID card, and category certificate in advance to avoid any discrepancies in the online application form.

The testing agency had previously said that the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 registration will commence in October; however, the registration window is yet to open. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held in January and session 2 in April.

The JEE Mains 2026 exam is held twice a year to admit students for engineering, pharmacy, and planning programmes at various colleges across the country.
