Candidates who have registered will be able to edit or rectify their details in the JEE Mains form 2026 on December 1 and 2.
NTA will start the JEE Main 2026 application correction facility from December 1. Registered candidates will be able to edit or rectify their details in the JEE Mains form 2026 on December 1 and 2.
Even if JEE Main 2026 exam dates clash with any other exam, NTA will not change the allotted date or shift for the candidates, the testing agency clarified while answering the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). Also, students will not be allowed to use calculators during the JEE Mains exam 2026.
NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 exam 2026 from January 21 to 30 for admissions to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and more.
How to apply for JEE Main 2026?
Here are the steps to fill the JEE Main application form 2026:
- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the “Registration for JEE(Main)-2026 Session-1” under candidate activity on the home page.
- Enter basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
- Verify your email ID and mobile number through the OTP.
- Log in using the generated credentials to fill in the application form.
- Provide personal, academic, and other information
- Upload scanned documents, including photograph, signature, and other certificates, as per specifications.
- Pay the application fee, review the application form and submit it.
- Download the confirmation page.
