JEE Main 2026 Day 1 Shift 2 Analysis: Questions in the chemistry section were mostly easy and formula-based, as per students’ reaction

As per the JEE Main 2026 April 2 shift 2 paper review, the evening shift exam was overall easy to moderate in difficulty. The paper was almost similar to the morning shift but slightly tougher and easier compared to the January session.
Physics included some statement-based questions and was relatively more challenging, while chemistry remained easy and formula-based. Mathematics was lengthy but easier than the morning shift held on the same day, though it required more time due to calculations, leading to fewer attempts on average.
