The first three days saw a mix of reactions from students, parents regarding the JEE Main exam paper difficulty level, allotment of far-off exam centres, and technical glitches.

The NTA JEE Main 2025 session 1 exams are being conducted from January 22 to January 30 for paper 1 and paper 2. There is a gap of three days in between the exam that spans for 6 days. The JEE Main admit card 2025 for candidates who have been allotted January 28, 29 and 30 has also been issued on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
It was not a great start for the NTA, since it had to postpone the JEE Main January 22 exam for 114 candidates who appeared in the eTalent exam centre in Bengaluru due to technical snag. Careers360 reported about the delay in allowing candidates inside the exam hall at the same exam centre - eTalent exam centre, Peenya, Bangalore , in Karnataka - for shift 1 students.

JEE Mains Jan 23 question paper
Students who appeared on day 2 rated the JEE Main January 23 shift 1 and shift 2 question paper moderate in difficulty level. Some students who took the exam in Delhi-NCR test centres claimed that the question paper had a few errors and the physics section had only two options instead of four.

JEE Mains Jan 24 question paper
The third day of the JEE Mains exam was the easiest compared to the previous two days, as per students’ reactions. The JEE Main January 24 shift 1 question paper was moderate and shift 2 was ‘easiest’ overall , as per the session 1 exam analysis.
