NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 schedule for session 1 today, January 1. As per the JEE Main 2025 session 1 schedule, the exams are concluding on January 30. There is no JEE Main 2025 exam on January 31.

JEE Main 2025 latest updates

The NTA will soon issue the JEE Main city intimation slip 2025 for BTech and BArch exams. As per the official schedule, the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip will be released in the first week of January. Candidates will be able to view and download their JEE city allotment slip using their application number and password through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam will be conducted from January 22 to 30. The JEE Main admit card 2025 will be issued three days before the exam. Accordingly, the JEE Main admit card date 2025 is January 19. Candidates will be required to enter their application number and password to download the JEE Main admit card 2025.

JEE Main admit card 2025 vs city slip

The JEE Main admit card 2025 and the city intimation slip serve different purposes. The JEE Main exam 2025 city slip provides information about the exam city. In contrast, the JEE Main 2025 session 1 admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the exam hall. JEE Mains admit card 2025 includes information such as the exam center address, exam date, paper, reporting time, shift, roll number, and category details.

JEE Main 2025 exam pattern

The NTA has revised the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern. As per the JEE Main 2025 revised pattern , section B will not include optional questions. There will be only 5 questions per subject in JEE Main and students will be required to answer all 5 questions. The JEE main 2025 syllabus includes topics from three subjects - physics, chemistry, mathematics .

JEE Main 2025 exam will consist of 3 papers- paper 1 for BTech, BE, Paper 2A for BArch, and 2B for BPlan. JEE Main 2025 paper 1 will have 75 multiple-choice questions. The JEE Main 2025 BTech paper will carry 300 marks.

The JEE Main 2025 paper 2A will include 77 questions and carry a total of 400 marks. The JEE Main 2025 BPlan paper will consist of 100 questions carrying 400 marks. JEE Main 2025 paper 2 will be held in online mode except the drawing section.

The JEE Mains 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages - Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu in addition to Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
