In the physics section of the JEE Main 2025 April 4 shift 2 held from 3 pm to 6 pm today, there were two questions on modern physics and one question on ray optics that matched the JEE Advanced level.
Students also found some JEE Main previous year questions (PYQ) in today’s JEE Main paper held in the second shift. No out of syllabus questions were seen in the second shift like JEE Main 2025 April 4 shift 1.
As per overall JEE Main 2025 April 4 shift 2 paper analysis, the exam was moderately difficult. It was moderate in difficulty as compared to the JEE Main 2025 session 1 exams, however, comparatively easier than last year. The mathematics section was a bit tricky and lengthy, while physics and chemistry were doable, as per experts.

Physics
The overall difficulty level of JEE Main 2025 April 4 shift 2 physics was "easy to moderate”. It was easier than mathematics and chemistry. The paper was easy as compared to the morning shift and previous day. The physics section was also easy compared to JEE Main 2025 session 1.

In today’s JEE Main paper held in the second shift, the mathematics section turned out to be difficult and lengthy. It was difficult as compared to the JEE Mains 2025 April 2 and 3 exams but easier than January session.

Chemistry
The chemistry section in JEE Main 2025 April 4 shift 2 question paper was moderately difficult than physics but easier than math. Slightly tougher than the first session, the paper was seen on the easier side in comparison to the last two days.
