Candidates who appeared for the exam can challenge the JEE Main answer key 2024 through the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. Applicants will have to login to the candidate portal in order to raise grievances against the JEE Main provisional answer key 2024 for the April session.

As candidates eagerly await their results, the challenge window provides students with the final opportunity to address any discrepancies and seek clarity on their responses.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key on April 12, allowing candidates to cross-verify their answers and raise objections, if any. The duration of the answer key challenge is April 12 to 14.
NTA will thoroughly review all the challenges submitted by the candidates and will subsequently release the JEE Main 2024 final answer key. The revised key will be used to calculate the JEE Main 2024 results.
Steps to challenge JEE Main 2024 answer key
To raise objections, candidates must note the question ID and answer provided through the answer key of JEE Main along with the correct answer and apply through a link along with payment of Rs 200 for each question.
- Visit the website at jeemain.nta.ac.in 2024
- Click on the link to ‘JEE Main(2024) Session-1: Answer Key Challenge’.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Click on the Answer key tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Next, click the ‘challenge’ button.
- The JEE Main answer key shall contain the question ID as well as the ID with a correct option for both papers 1 and 2.
- Challenge the question by selecting one or more IDs.
- Now click on ‘Save your claim’ and click on next.
- Question ID so challenged will appear on the screen.
- Submit the necessary documents in pdf format to support your claim.
- Pay the processing fee of Rs 200 for each objection.
