try now testNEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 for engineering aspirants from the third week of January while the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 will be held in May first week, as per a Times of India report. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 will be taken on May 5, the report said.

Talking about the notification, the TOI said that NTA might notify the dates of the entrance exams starting with JEE Mains 2024 in the next week.

A senior NTA official told TOI that the JEE Main 2024 registration and exam dates will be out in the initial days of the next week. The tests will be held most probably in January third week and April second week. Like every year, the testing agency will reopen the registration window for the second session, the TOI report added.
NTA holds the JEE Main exam for admission to engineering courses such as BTech, BE, BArch and BPlanning offered by engineering colleges across the country. NEET exam is held for admitting students to medical and dental programmes. CUET exam was recently introduced for admission to undergraduate programmes in central, state, private, and deemed universities.
