JEE Main 2023 exam analysis for Day 1 shift 1
The JEE Main shift 2 question paper was similar to the previous year. Know JEE Main 2023 January 24 shift 2 difficulty level, as per the FIITJEE analysis.

Mathematics - The difficulty level of the Mathematics subject was moderate. Weightage was given to chapters of Algebra- like Permutation & Combination, Progression & Series, Statistics, Complex Number, Binomial, Matrices, Determinants, Vectors & 3D Geometry. In Co-ordinate Geometry questions asked from Straight Lines & Circles. In Calculus -Differential Equations, Definite Integral & Functions. Few Numerical Based questions required lengthy calculations. This section was also tricky as per students.

Physics - The difficulty level of Physics subject was easy. Questions asked from almost all chapters with few good questions from Work, Power & Energy, Wave Optics, Electrostatics, EM Waves, Modern Physics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Magnetism, Kinematics, Heat & Thermodynamics. Numerical based questions were easy. It was a balanced section.

Chemistry - The difficulty level of Chemistry subject was easy to moderate level. Inorganic Chemistry was given less weightage as compared to Organic & Physical Chemistry. In Physical Chemistry, questions were asked from Chemical Kinetics, Ionic Equilibrium, Atomic Structure. Organic Chemistry had questions from Amines, Aldehydes & Ketones, General Organic Chemistry. Inorganic Chemistry was tricky but from NCERT.

The mathematics section was considered to be moderate in difficulty level; physics was easy and Chemistry was also easy. As compared to last year, the JEE Main 2023 question paper for the second session was quite similar and the overall difficulty level was easy to moderate.
