Calling it a long-awaited reform, the minister has also informed that a special task force has been formed for teaching technical engineering in regional languages.
“I think the overall quality will improve because when students understand concepts in their mother tongue, they can think better,” the minister told HT.
Pokhriyal also added that English will not be completely eradicated from the education system but will simply be the medium of instruction along with the regional language.

However, the official notification for JEE Main 2021 has not been announced yet and is much awaited among the student community preparing for engineering admissions in the upcoming session.
