Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of technology (IIT) Guwahati will begin the JEE Advanced 2023 registration process tomorrow for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main session 2 result 2023 today at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Those candidates who secure a rank in the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main ranks will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2023. JEE Advanced exam 2023 is jointly organised by the seven IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee. Students will be admitted in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIITs, and government-funded technical institutions (GFTIs) based on the JEE Main results 2023.
The top 2,50,000 candidates of JEE Main 2023 will have to apply for the JEE Advanced 2023 to be shortlisted for BE, BTech programmes at the top engineering colleges. They will be able to submit the application form on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
As per the age limit, candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998, to be eligible. Five years age relaxation will be given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

As per the reservation criteria, 10% of seats are reserved for general-EWS candidates, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is open for all. Within each of these five categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates, the IIT Guwahati said.
