IIT Madras is offering BTech courses in computer science, civil and mechanical engineering among others. For admission in IIT Madras, candidates that clear JEE Advanced 2023 will have to participate in Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling 2023. The counselling authority will conduct various rounds to allocate students in various IITs, NITs, GFTIs and IIITs across India.

As per previous year's data, IIT Madras' cut-off for CSE had the highest closing rank at 175 while the biological sciences 5-year dual degree had the lowest closing rank with 11452.
