JMI launches training programme in AI, ML in hybrid mode; offers 160 seats

Jamia Millia Islamia: The short-term training programme in AL, ML will begin on July 1 to 19. The deadline for the application is May 24.
The Jamia Millia Islamia’s (JMI) department of computer engineering has launched a short-term training programme in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). A total of 160 seats are available, including 60 offline and 100 online (hybrid mod). JMI’s short-term AI and ML programme will begin on July 1 to 19.
The deadline for the application is May 24, and the fee payment is June 1. The application scrutiny will begin on May 26, and selected candidates will receive a confirmation email on May 28.
The programme is open to all diploma, undergraduate (UG) and PhD scholars and faculty with having maths background. The registration fee for JMI students is Rs 4,500; outside JMI participants have to pay Rs 6,500, and industry participants have to pay Rs 10,000 and foreign, NRI participants have to pay Rs 10,000. Except the NRI participants, other category students will get a Rs 1000 discount on online participation.
JMI: Short term AI, ML programme
The session will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. The short-term programme will hold learning sessions on programming and other related concepts from subject experts. The AI, ML course comprises five modules such as:
- Introduction to AI and Python basics
- Applied data science with python
- Machine learning algorithms
- Deep learning for computer vision
- using keras and tensorflow
- Deep Learning
