JAC Chandigarh 2025 extends round 1 choice-filling for BTech admission to July 10
JAC Chandigarh 2025: Only Joint Engineering Entrance Main 2025 (JEE Main)-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling process.
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Chandigarh has extended the round 1 choice-filling process for admission to engineering programmes to July 10, 2025. Candidates can fill and lock their choices for BTech courses through the official website at jacchd.admissions.nic.in using login credentials such as application number and password.
Notably, candidates who have qualified the Joint Engineering Entrance Main 2025 (JEE Main) are eligible to participate in the JAC Chandigarh 2025 counselling.
Earlier, the deadline to exercise choice-filling for the JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2025 was July 7 till 5 pm. Five colleges are participating in the counselling process including UIET Panjab University and Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.
The JAC Chandigarh 2025 counselling process also involves mock allotment, seat locking, and other rounds.

JAC Chandigarh 2025: How to exercise choice-filling
Candidates seeking admission to various BTech courses at five engineering colleges across Chandigarh can follow the steps given below to fill their choices.
- Go to the official website at jacchd.admissions.nic.in.
- On the home page, scroll down and click on the choice filling and locking link.
- A new page will open.
- Type login credentials such as JEE Main application number and password.
- Press the sign-in button.
- Select and arrange choice of college and BTech course from the drop down menu.
- Click on save.
