JAC Chandigarh 2025 counselling registration begins; eligibility, participating institutes

NEW DELHI: The Joint Admission Committee has begun the registration process for the JAC Chandigarh counselling 2025. Eligible candidates can register for the JAC Chandigarh counselling 2025 by visiting the official website, jacchd.admissions.nic.in.

As per the official information bulletin, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main)-2025 rank, will be used for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes, including Integrated BE (Chemical)-Master of Business Administration (MBA), through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC)-2025.

For admission to Bachelor of Architecture (BArch), the AIR prepared by the NTA based on the score in JEE (Main)-2025 Paper-2a (BArch) will be used.

To register for the JAC counselling 2025, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable counselling fee. For candidates from the general category, the fee is Rs 2,800, while for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the fee is Rs 1,400.

JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2025: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for the JAC Chandigarh 2025 counselling are provided in the table below.

For BE, Integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA

• All India Rank prepared by NTA based on the score in JEE (Main)-2025 Paper 1 for BE, BTech.
• Passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with five subjects, including Language, Physics, Mathematics, one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, and any other subject. OR
• Passed Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

For BArch

• Candidates should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects:
• Chemistry, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies.
• Candidates should have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate. OR
• Candidates must have passed a Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• All India Rank will be prepared by National Testing Agency (NTA) based on the score in JEE (Main)-2025 Paper 2A (B. Architecture).
